Arranged on at least one end face of the agitating disc (10; 40) is at least one rib (14) which extends in an arcuate shape from a region (16) near to the axis to at least approximately the outer rim (18) of the agitating disc (10; 40). Measured in the axial direction of the agitating disc (10; 40) from a base plane (B) normal to the axis, the rib height decreases with increasing radial distance from the region (16) near to the axis, so that at least one of the two end faces has a stepped profile (12) which descends from the region (16) near to the axis towards the outer rim (18). <IMAGE>
