PURPOSE:To secure the protection of a computer system even at application of a transmission circuit by using a switch to inhibit the transmission of the state information on the hardware prepared for the hardware maintenance. CONSTITUTION:A maintenance processor 10 receives a command and sends this command to a system control part 1. Thus the part 1 reads out the information data to a computer system component. Then the information data is sent to a remote control maintenance device via the processor 10 and a communication circuit 200. The part 1 is connected to a switch 2 and an information reading request given from the processor 10 is neglected or rejected in case the switch 2 is valid. When the interface of the hardware state information is invalid, the processor 10 rejects the interface of an input/output control part 3 received from a remote place for protection of a computer system. |
