摘要 |
PURPOSE:To decrease the generation of scumming and to improve printing resistance by providing a grafted auxiliary layer on the surface of an electrophotographic sensitive layer and radical-polymerizing a hydrophilic radical-polymerizable compd. by irradiation of chemically active rays, thereby providing a hydrophilic surface layer bonded securely via the grafted auxiliary layer. CONSTITUTION:The electrophotographic sensitive layer 2 is provided on the surface of the base 1 and the grafted auxiliary layer 3 contg. a graft- polymerizable polymer material is formed on the surface of the electrophotographic sensitive layer 2. The hydrophilic surface layer 4 which consists of the radical-polymn. product of at least one kind of the hydrophilic radical-polymerizable org. compd. and in which at least a part of the radical polymer material material is grafted to the graft-polymerizable polymer material in the grafted auxiliary layer 3 and which exhibits water insolubility as a whole is formed on the surface of the grafted auxiliary layer 3. The hydrophilic surface layer 4 and the electrophotographic sensitive layer 2 are securely bonded via the grafted auxiliary layer 3. The staining of the non-image part is thereby eliminated and the high printing resistance is obtd. |
