Two-piece brake disc for disc-brake systems, particularly those in motor vehicles, characterised in that it consists of two parts joined together by welding, with a formed fastening disc and a likewise formed multi-knob disc which is provided with a multiplicity of uniformly distributed polygonal knobs, of which the inner knobs are arranged on an inner-knob circle and the outer knobs are arranged on an outer-knob circle, the discs being joined together by tangential seam welds in the region of the inner and outer knobs and/or by spot welds in the region of the inner and outer knobs, the brake disc also being characterised by the cooling-air ducts formed by the knob arrangement, these ducts being interrupted by the arrangement of the knobs so as to increase the cooling effect by means of air turbulence. <IMAGE>
