PURPOSE:To make a compact layout attainable by installing an air cleaner box in an inner recess at the center of a fuel tank, and installing a resonance box, reducing an intake noise, in an inner space formed by the air cleaner box and the fuel tank. CONSTITUTION:An air cleaner box 10 consisting of a cap 13 with a element 11 and an air intake is installed in an inner recess space A at the center of a fuel tank mounted straddlingly on a body frame 2b extending to the rear from a head pipe 2a. A resonance box 17, reducing an intake noise, is installed in an inner space being formed by the box 10 and the fuel tank 14 in the rear of the air cleaner box 10. In a motorcycle which is restricted in a mounting space for various parts and equipment, the resonance box aiming at reduction in the intake noise is attachable in utilizing a dead space beneath the fuel tank, so that a layout can be made into compact in size as a whole. |
