The invention relates to a process for producing compression-moulded, shock-absorbing parts, such as for example containers, packaging parts or the like. Used as constituents are straw, which is milled, and an adhesive which is dissolved in water and substantially has naturally degradable constituents. The straw-adhesive mixture is introduced into a mould and pressed. The moulding is subsequently dried. Even the adhesive contained in paper can be used as the adhesive.
