The invention relates to a device for opening up the belly in connection with butchery. The invention comprises a fastening member 4 and a brace 3 on a specially built handle or on the handle of a knife or the handle of the knife constitutes a brace. The brace has the task of, inter alia, supporting the work operation and bearing against the outer side of the skin 7. The outermost part of the device, the coin 1, is placed beneath the skin 7 and between the coin 1 and the brace 3 or the knife handle there is located a cutting edge 2 intended to make an incision in the skin 7. The invention eliminates the majority of the problems which exist in connection with opening up the belly in butchery by virtue of the fact that it offers good functioning and safety combined with a simple, low-price construction. <IMAGE> |
