<p>PURPOSE:To realize the switch of the shift speed of a mouse cursor between the high and low speed modes on a screen in the same action of a mouse by adding a mouse cursor shift value control button to the mouse to change the shift value of the mouse cursor on the screen. CONSTITUTION:An interruption is generated to a mouse cursor from a mouse 1 with push of a shift value control button 7. Then the interruption signal is transmitted to a computer main body 2 via a connection cable 3 as a switch control signal functioning to set a high speed mode. Thus the control is shifted to a mouse driver 5 via a mouse hardware 4. The driver 5 informs the received information to an application program 6. The program 6 sets the Mickey/dot ratio in both horizontal and vertical directions decided previously by a subroutine for setting the mouse cursor shift value. Then the mouse cursor moves based on the set shift value.</p> |
