The invention relates to a device for the dismantleable assembly of hollow-profile portions with a base hollow-profile portion with the aid of a bracing member which can be adjusted in said base hollow-profile portion by means of a bracing screw. A visually pleasing connection with the possibility of joining a plurality of hollow-profile portions on the base hollow-profile portion by means of a single bracing member is provided in that the end side of the base hollow-profile portion can be closed off by means of a termination plug which, by means of a guide sleeve, rests on the inner wall of the base hollow-profile portion and, by means of a collar, is supported on the end side of the base hollow-profile portion, in that the bracing screw is centrically mounted in the termination plug and a bracing nut is displaceably guided on a threaded part, in that the bracing member is held on the bracing nut by means of a securing disc (washer), in that the bracing nut is secured against release from the threaded part of the bracing screw by means of a securing ring, in that bracing elements are fixed in the end sides of the hollow-profile portions, which are to be connected to the base hollow-profile portion, by a bracing head, and in that the bracing heads can be inserted through insertion openings in the base hollow-profile portion and through-passages in the guide sleeve of the termination plug into bracing receiving means of the bracing member.
