The testing device (1) for agglutination analysers comprises a receiving and mixing region (7) for the sample and the reagents, and a reaction capillary (4) with an upstream region (9) having a capillary action for creating a flow velocity of the sample/reagent mixture, greater than the velocity along a downstream region (10) of the reaction capillary (4). An intermediate region (11) can be provided between the upstream and downstream capillary regions (9,10). At its downstream end (6), the reaction capillary (4) is connected to a collecting region (8). The testing device is distinguished by steady feeding and motion of the sample/reagent mixture through the reaction capillary (4). In particular, the time taken for a sample/reagent mixture to flow from the upstream end (5) to the downstream end (6) of the reaction capillary is subject to only slight fluctuations between different tests. The testing device is particularly suitable for the detection of drug abuse, for example for the detection of cocaine metabolites in human body fluids. ……
