PURPOSE:To provide the title form so designed that specific granular protruding portions are formed on the surface of a dense ceramic form, thereby stabilizing the bond strength between said surface and an electroless plated layer provided thereon. CONSTITUTION:A pasty slurry prepared by mixing a granular ceramic material 2 (e.g., alumina powder 3mu in mean size) with e.g., an organic solvent, plasticizer, void-forming material (e.g., carbon powder) is spread on the both sides of a band-like green sheet 1 (e.g., of alumina) containing a crystal binder (e.g., flux of glass component) using a reverse coaster system, followed by calcination in an oxidative atmosphere to remove said void-forming material etc., thus obtaining the objective ceramic base form with granular protrusions 5 formed thereon, voids 6 divergent virtually inward from the standpoint of the said surface side formed, the total area of the shoulder parts 8 in voids 6 accounting for 0.5-10% of the specified base form surface area, and number of said shoulder parts 8 being 2,000-100,000 per mm<2>. An electroless plated layer 7 is formed on the surface of this base form. |
