摘要 |
PURPOSE:To obtain a dense superconductor having the high critical temperature and stabilized superconductive characteristics at a low cost by specifying atomic ratios of the respective components and previously calcining Bi2O3 and CuO in the raw materials in producing a Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O based superconductor. CONSTITUTION:Powders of an Sr compound (e.g. SrCO3) and a Ca compound (e.g. CaCO3) are mixed at a ratio so as to provide a Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O based superconductor having component atomic ratios of Sr:Ca=1:0.3-3, Bi:Cu=1:1.8-4 and (Sr+Ca):(Bi+Cu)=1:1-2. The resultant mixed powder is then calcined at a lower temperature than the sintering temperature and pulverized. The obtained processed powder is subsequently mixed with powders of Bi2O3 and CuO at a ratio satisfying the above-mentioned conditions and press formed. The obtained compact is then sintered at 830-880 deg.C temperature in an oxidizing atmosphere to produce the aimed superconductor. |
