PURPOSE:To give a sufficient diagnosing function to an interface device adopting an LSI on the market by constituting closed loops of data buffer parts, interface control parts, and internal busses. CONSTITUTION:When this device is diagnosed, data is set into both interface control parts 31 and 32 from a processor part 11. Then, data in control parts 31 and 32 are sent to data buffer parts 21 and 22, and these data are compared with each other through connection busses 108 and 118 by a comparing circuit 12 to check the normalcy of the circuit. The circuit 12 compares outputs of both buffer parts 21 and 22 with each other at the time of input transfer control and compares outputs of both control parts 31 and 32 with each other at the time of output transfer control. Data is set to both buffer parts 21 and 22 from the processor part in the same manner. Data in buffer parts 21 and 22 are sent to control parts 31 and 32 and are compared with each other by the circuit 12 to check the normalcy of the circuit. |
