PURPOSE: To reduce the cost and energy consumption of an apparatus for the post-polishing of the rear surface of a plastic molded sheet by covering a molding tool with a post-polishing hood so as to close a tool hollow chamber. CONSTITUTION: A radiation member 13 and a blower 14 are arranged within the bottom part range of a post-polishing hood 11. After a closed molding tool 1 is rotated around rotary axial lines 105, 117, a powder container is again separated from the molding tool 1 and the post-polishing hood 11 is again closed and the rear side of a plastic molded sheet 31 is loaded with the radiation by the radiation member 13 of the post-polishing hood 11. In this case, the post-melting and post-polishing of the plastic molded sheet 13 are performed by the second rotation of the molding tool 1 around the rotary axial lines 105, 117 and the rear surface heating of the plastic molded sheet 31 is equalized by the blower 14. The supply quantity of heat becomes extremely little by the region comprising the radiation member 13 arranged in the post-polishing hood.
