An input device (4) comprises a position location system for determining the position of an indicator relative to a predetermined coordinate system. A pressure responsive switch (33) is mounted under the position location means; and a coupling arrangement (20,21) is positioned between the position location system and the switch such that when sufficient pressure is applied to the position location system, that pressure is transferred to the coupling arrangement which moves to actuate the switch. The coupling arrangement comprises at least two plates (20,21) which are pivoted together and extend beneath the position location system so that substantially the same pressure must be applied at any position on the position location system to actuate the switch. |
