PURPOSE:To minimize an amount of split electrolyte when the electrolyte is injected into a case body and into a cap so that a polarizable electrode is impregnated with the electrolyte by establishing a negative pressure within the atmosphere for predetermined period of time, then restoring atmospheric pressure and repeating these procedures again. CONSTITUTION:A predetermined amount of electrolyte is injected into a case body 10 through a nozzle 18 and the case body 10 is set within a vacuum apparatus. The vacuum apparatus comprises a turn table 30 having a plurality of pits 31 arranged along the same circumference with a predetermined distance therebetween, and cup-like covers 32 provided for the respective pits 31 and movable vertically thereto. Each of the pits 31 communicate with a negative pressure source through a pipe 33. When the case body 10 containing the electrolyte is set in a pit 31, the cover 32 descends to close the pit hermetically while the negative pressure source is activated so that the pressure within the pit 31 is reduced for a predetermined period of time. Then, atmospheric pressure is restored in the pit and the procedures described above are repeated again. In this manner, an amount of the split electrolyte can be minimized. |
