PURPOSE:To easily form a metallic mold by preventing undercut from being generated by setting a plane that passes the point of the outermost part being stretched in a direction intersecting orthogonally to the sliding direction of the metallic mold and extends in the direction intersecting orthogonally to the sliding direction of the metallic mold as a butting plane. CONSTITUTION:Plural points Pi (P1-P5,...) on which the sliding direction Z of the metallic mold intersects orthogonally to the normal line on an object 4 expressed in shape data are found. Plural offset points Pi0 (P10-P50,...) and Pi1 (P11-P51,...) that intersect orthogonally to a line (CXY) which connects the plural points Pi (P1-P5,...) and are moved by a prescribed quantity from the plural points Pi (P1-P5,...) in directions intersecting orthogonally to the sliding direction Z are found. The plane SP0 and SP1 passing the plural offset points Pi0 (P10-P50,...) and Pi1 (P11-P51,...), and the plural points Pi (P1-P5,...) are set as the butting plane of the metallic mold. |
