PURPOSE:To store a developer in a toner recovery container to its inner part by adding a vibrating means to the toner recovery container. CONSTITUTION:The opening part 41 of the toner recovery container 40 is slanted down to the right at a tilt angle similar to that of a discharge opening 35, the reverse surface part of its body part 40a on the rear end side is supported elastically by a leaf spring 43, and a cam 44 which rotates associatively with the driving shaft of a recovery auger 34 is made to abut on the top surface part of the body part 40a. Then the toner recovery container 40 is vibrated vertically by the vibrating means which utilizes the energizing force of the leaf spring 43 and the rotation of the cam 44. Consequently, toner T is dispersed without being stacked locally on the internal bottom part of the toner recovery container 40, and the toner is stored uniformly on the whole. |
