<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a CRT from being burnt due to the long unvaried state of its display contents by providing the title monitoring device with a timer to automatically clear a display picture. CONSTITUTION:When a monitor does not operate a keyboard 4 within a set time, a timer 7 generates timer information 9. A keyboard interface part 3 converts the timer information 9 into a picture clear signal and sends the converted signal to a central processing part 5. The processing part 5 instructs clear operation to a CRT control part 2 to clear the screen of a CRT display part 1. Since the display picture is cleared when the operator does not operate the keyboard 4 for a fixed period in said constitution, the CRT can be prevented from shortening its life due to the long unvaried state of its display contents.</p> |
