PURPOSE:To simplify construction by allowing a holder to rotate around a fulcrum provided near an opening part, unlocking the holder by the insertion of a magnetic recording medium to lower the rear end of the holder, and to bring the recording medium into contact with a magnetic head. CONSTITUTION:The fulcrum 14 is provided near the opening part 20 of a front panel 12 and the holder 13 is held freely rotatable. The rear end of the holder 13 is held in the notch part of a holding pawl 16 by the energizing force of a spring 18. Further, the holder 13 is energized toward a base 17 by a spring 15. The magnetic recording medium 11 is inserted into the holder 13 through the opening part 20 and when the holding pawl 16 is pressed, the abutting with holder 13 is released to lower the rear end of the holder 13 by the spring 15, thereby allowing the magnetic recording medium 11 to contact the magnetic head 19. Thus, the construction is simplified and the width of the opening part 20 is decreased to prevent foreign matter incorporation. |
