METHOD FOR CONTROLLING PURIFYING DEVICE FOR SEWAGE IN STORAGE POND OR THE LIKE

PURPOSE:To control purification of sewage economically and effectively by investigating the perpendicular distribution of temp. around an upright cylinder, and operating an air supply device intermittenly or continuously according to the rate of excess when the distribution exceeds a standard value. CONSTITUTION:Plural pieces of temp. sensors 19 such as thermistors are provided at suitable intervals on the wall of an upright cylinder 1. The temps. detected with the sensors 19 are converted to electric signals which are inputted to an arithmetic controller 20. The controller 20 calculates the temp. differences between the optional sensors 19 and determines the unit temp. difference per unit depth from said values. When the unit temp. difference exceeds a set value, the controller operates an air supply device 21 which feeds air to the cylinder 1 intermittently or continuously.
