PURPOSE:To obtain a plasma display with large displaying capacity by constructing the plasma display such that a plasma display panel with multilines and high resolution is provided at a display plane and integrally connected to a driver circuit board at the rear side of the display plane. CONSTITUTION:Provided at a display plane is a plasma display panel 1 which has 900 to 1600 vertical display electrodes in vertical direction, 500 to 1200 horizontal display electrodes in horizontal direction and displaying dots with a gap of 0.25 to 0.35mm. The panel 1 is integrally connected to a driver circuit 2 board at the rear side of the display plane to constitute a display unit 3. The display unit 3 is supplied with a plurality of parallel display data signals, clock signals for transferring the data signals and interface signals from an external apparatus. Furthermore, a power source unit 4 is provided which supplies specified low voltage and high voltage for driving to the display unit 3. Thus, a useful plasma display with large image plane and display capacity is obtained. |
