摘要 PURPOSE:To optimize the film thickness of a recording part and to stabilize a track servo signal level and recording sensitivity by forming the shape of the recording surface of the projecting parts of a substrate having rugged preformats to a recessed shape. CONSTITUTION:This optical information recording carrier is constituted by providing a recording layer 2 coated with a recording material such as dye onto the groove parts 5 and recording parts 6 of the transparent substrate 1 formed with the recording surface of the projecting parts 8 of the rugged preformats consisting of the groove parts 5 and the recording parts 6 on the surface to the recessed shape and adhering a back material 4 via an adhesive agent layer 3 thereon. An injection molding method, casting molding method, thermal transfer molding method, light transfer molding method, etc., are used as the method of forming the recording parts having the recessed recording surface on the surface of the substrate 1. A method of coating a soln. dissolved or dispersed with the dye on the substrate 1 is used for forming the recording layer 2. All kinds of materials including glass, plastic, metals, etc., are usable for the back material 4 and the same material as the material of the substrate 1 is more preferable.
