<p>PURPOSE:To stabilize quality and to improve varistor characteristics by mixing a solution with zinc oxide particles diffused and the solution with bismuth oxide particles diffused at a pH which makes the zeta potential of the particles of reverse polarity each other. CONSTITUTION:A first solution where zinc oxide based particles are dispersed and a second solution dispersed with bismuth oxide based particles whose zetapotential becomes reverse polarity against the former particle at a specified pH range are prepared respectively. The solutions are mixed at a pH for which the zeta potentials of the particles are mutually opposite polarities. Since the disposed particles in the solution have charges with mutually different polarities, suction force works each other to realize homogeneous mixing. Therefore, fine structure wherein oxide of a number of additive components is interposed as a uniform intergranular phase among ZnO powders can be acquired by filtering and drying the acquired particles, adding appropriate binder into material powders and burning it after formation. In this way, quality is stabilized and varistor can be improved.</p> |
