PURPOSE:To obtain a sharp image by applying whole image exposure on an image holding body between an electrification stage and an image exposure stage. CONSTITUTION:A green light emitting diode(LED) consisting of pigment and a CT agent is used as an exposure means 3, and it is formed so as to emit wavelength of 620nm. And at the time of forming an image, the whole image exposure is applied on the surface of an organic photoconductor 1a in a photosensitive drum 1 by the exposure means 3 before exposing the image. Thereby, the photoconductor 1a is pre-excited, and the generating ratio of electric charge can be increased, and also, trap in the neighborhood of the interface of an electric charge generating layer and an electric charge migrating layer comprising the photoconductor 1a can be reduced, then, the sensitivity of a 1/10 exposure quantity can be increased. In such a way, fogging due to the splash of a developer 5a can be prevented from being generated and a satisfactory image can be formed. |
