PURPOSE:To transmit revolving force to a motor shaft manually and to return an electro-magnet to be regular with the revolution of the motor shaft by providing an operating device to transmit and interrupt the manual revolving force to the shaft of a driving motor which returns the electro-magnet for external magnetic field impression of a magneto-optical disk device, when the motor stops due to power failure, etc. CONSTITUTION:The electro-magnet for external magnetic field impression is moved and returned by a motor 30 for driving in a magnetic disk device and the operating device, which is composed of an operating shaft 33, bearing boards 34 and 35, a spring 36 and a bevel gear 37, is coupled to a driving shaft 31 by a bevel gear 32. The turning force by the manual operation of the operating shaft 33 in this operating device is made regardless by the uncoupling of the bevel gears 32 and 37 and the motor 30 is normally operated in such a condition. When emergency is generated and the manual turning force is given to the driving shaft 31, the tip of a tool 39 for operation is fit to a channel 33a of the operating shaft 33 and pressed in a left direction until the bevel gears 32 and 37 are engaged against the energizing force of the spring 36. Then, the operation corresponds to the emergency such as power failure etc. |
