摘要 PURPOSE:To execute a flaw detection by setting the flaw detection accuracy in the periphery of the end part of an interface to the accuracy being equal to that in the center part by constituting the title probe so that a focal distance of the probe can be adjusted to a position for coinciding with the surface of an acoustic lens in a case. CONSTITUTION:In the center part of a bottom face 5b of a case 5, an acoustic lens 6 is provided, and also, water 7 is poured into the case 5, and a probe 4 is screwed in a state that it has been immersed into the water 7. A focal distance of the probe 4 is positioned in a position for coinciding with the surface 6a of the lens 6 by a fine adjustment. An ultrasonic beam which has formed a focus on the surface 6a is refracted by the surface 6a, and selected to a curvature by which it is emitted by parallel beams which have been focused to almost the same diameter as a size of the focus. Subsequently, the beam from the probe 4 is refracted by the surface 6a, emitted as focused parallel beams having the same diameter as a size (d) of the focus, made incident on a body to be inspected 2 through water 3 and reaches an interface 2b.
