The device tracks the guide lines radiating mono-frequency electromagnetic waves. The device comprises amplifiers (10a, 10b,10c) magnifying the signals of channel detectors (CHa,CHb, CHc) tracking leading-rail (LR), A/D converters (20a,20b,20c) converting the amplified analog signals into digital signals, a location finder (30) calculating the deviation from the predetermined reference values, a data controller (40) producing accurate position data by comparing the output of location finder (30) and the outputs of two A/D converters (20a,20b), and a data transmitter (50) controlling the data controller and delivering its data to microcomputer (70).
