发明名称 OXIDE SUPERCONDUCTOR AND PRODUCTION THEREOF
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain an oxide superconductor having a laminated crystal structure and high critical current density by slurrying calcined powder of starting material for a rare earth element-Ba-Cu-O type oxide superconductor, molding this slurry into a tape shape by a doctor blade method and sintering the molded body at a prescribed temp. in an oxidizing atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:A powdery mixture or synthesized starting material giving a compsn. represented by the formula (where RE is a rare earth element) is calcined at 900-970 deg.C in an oxidizing atmosphere. This calcined powder is slurried and molded into a tape shape by a doctor blade method and the molded body is sintered at 870-1,000 deg.C in an oxidizing atmosphere to obtain an oxide superconductor having a structure in which platy crystals having a compsn. represented by the formula are laminated in the same direction. In the surface X-ray diffraction analysis of the sintered body, the ratio (I1/I0) of synthetic peak intensity I1 at (005) and (014) to that I0 at (110) and (013) and/or the ratio (I2/I1) of synthetic peak intensity I2 at (006) and (200) to that I0 at (110) and (013) is >=0.5. The critical current density of the superconductor is >=3X10<3>A/cm<2>.
