A pair of springy contacts 12, provided in one part 1 of a moulded twopart lamp-holder assist in retaining a capless electric lamp 4 in the holder by forcing notches 11 against projections 10 provided on the second part 2 of the lamp-holder. The two parts of the lamp-holder are a snapfit together, and the contacts 12 are merely held in the lamp-holder by being clamped between the two parts as shown. The lamp-holder may be mounted in a printed circuit board in a bayonet-type manner so that the board is trapped between a shaped surface 2d and the contacts 17. |
