PURPOSE:To facilitate sealing of pressure welded part of a metallic pipe, by sticking flux on inner face of the metallic pipe and pressure welding and heating from the side at the time of sealing. CONSTITUTION:Flux 2 is deposited or applied on the inner face of a metallic pipe 1 for sealing refrigerating cycle, heat pipes, electric bulbs, cathode-ray tubes etc. When sealing the metallic pipe 1, the metallic pipe 1 is squashed by a pressure welding device 3 etc. and heated by fire of a burner etc. or an electrode 5 for electric heating etc. The flux 2 on the inner face is molten by above mentioned method and pressure welding and sealing are effected. By this way, sealing can be performed quickly and easily, and efficiency and reliability of work are improved. |
