PURPOSE:To enable a plate to be easily processed and besides, to enable good printing to be performed even on coarsed surface paper, by a method wherein an elastic layer and a surface layer having higher elasticity than that are laminated on a printing plate body, and a plate surface layer composed of a printing area part having affinity to ink and non-image area having repulsion thereto is established on the surface layer. CONSTITUTION:A surface layer b is formed by materials of 50 or over up to and including 90 in rubber hardness, and thermosetting resin, for example, epoxy resin, high elastic urethane resin, etc., are used. An elastic layer 7 is formed by materials of 10 or over to and excluding 50 in rubber hardness, for example, chloroprene rubber, nitrile rubber, etc., are used. When ink is adhered to a plate surface, the ink 3 is adhered to only a printing area having affinity to the ink on a surface of a plate surface layer 5 and then, is given to printing paper 1 to perform printing. Since the plate surface layer 5 coming in contact with the printing paper 1 and the elastic layer 7 supporting it can be easily deformed, the plate surface layer 5 adheres closely to the printing paper 1 and good printing is performed. Further, since it is not required to establish any large unevenness to the printing area and the non-image area, the plate comes to be easily processed. |
