The diving mask, swim goggles, wind protection goggles or the like has at least one vision panel, on the surface of which at least one optically active element as vision corrective element is attached with the aid of a transparent layer of resin. In this case, the layer of resin (3) itself is constructed as an optically active element; it can preferably be present as a single optically active element. Furthermore, a method of manufacturing such a mask or goggles is described which consists in applying a transparent layer of an initially liquid or at least deformable resin to the inner or outer surface of the vision panel (2), pressing an individually selected optical element or system into said resin and then allowing the resin to solidify either in continuous contact with the optical element or system or after the latter has been removed.
