摘要
A diaphragm throttle valve actuator 1 has a cable operated potentiometer 18 which normally controls the vacuum in a chamber 4 to set the diaphragm position. A lever 19 on the potentiometer operating shaft 15 is released by an electrically- operated pin 22 when a fault is detected in the electrical vacuum control. The lever 19 then controls a vacuum release valve 9 to determine the diaphragm position in accordance with the cable determined position of the shaft 15. <IMAGE>
