PURPOSE:To speed up a picture display by executing the traverse processing of a specified part among data to be stored in a logical segment memory, changing the content of a physical segment memory, partially changing a displaying picture. CONSTITUTION:Graphic data to be obtained by a channel processor 20 are given to a logical segment memory 10 and a display list is stored in a logical coordinate system. When the instruction of a picture change to be given from the channel processor 20 is not a partial change, all of the display list is scanned, when it is the partial change, only the instruction part out of the display list is scanned in a traverse processor 12. Scanning data are interpreted into a display instruction and the processing of a coordinate transformation, a clip, etc. is executed. An instruction group adaptable to the physical coordinate system corresponding to the displaying picture is written to a physical segment memory 14. These display instructions are fetched by a displaying control circuit 18 and graphic-displayed on a display 16. |
