<p>The invention relates to a display tag holder for an elongated hanger assembly, said hanger assembly being of the type comprising a rod for suspending objects and a means of attachment to a perforated board or shaped strip. According to the invention, the holder comprises an elongated body (2) joined at one end to a connection plate (3) and at its other end to a frame (4) for carrying a display tag; the elongated body is made up of two sections (2.1 and 2.2), the one being arranged in the extension of the other, and the two being snap-fastened together, the section (2.2) having a plurality of weak transverse zones (5) defining a series of segments, so as to allow the sections concerned to be snap-fastened on for the different possible lengths of said holder after it has been broken or cut across one of these weak zones.
