Borehole plug with self-restraining tube

A borehole plug provided in particular for use in underground mining and tunnelling has an extensible sealing part which is pressed against the borehole wall by consolidating material penetrating into the annular extension space in order to secure the borehole plug on the one hand and prevent the subsequent passage of consolidating material from the hole bottom on the other hand. Reliable and uniform pressing of the sealing part against the borehole wall is achieved, since the pipe piece is designed as a buckle-proof, robust supporting pipe, while the sealing part is a thick-walled tube which is flexible to a limited extent and is displaceably held on the end allocated to the inlet part. If consolidating material is fed into this borehole plug, this consolidating material, after passing the first non-return valve, penetrates through axial and radial bores in the buckle-proof pipe piece into the annular extension space, inflates the sealing part and presses its wall against the borehole wall, the bottom end being partly displaced in the holder so that a uniform inflation effect over the entire length of the sealing part is guaranteed. <IMAGE>
