发明名称 Vibrating body
摘要 Vibrating body for the electronic generation of wave energy, such as shock waves, can be employed directly and intracorporeally to combat diseases of various aetiologies. The devices suitable for this purpose are predominantly high-performance, usually narrow, vibrating bodies made of, for example, barium titanate and having a diameter of only a few millimeters. The treatment of arteriosclerosis requires low wave energy in several sessions, while cancer is combated with high wave energy. On direct introduction of the vibrating body into the tissue a coupling medium as is required in a lithotriptor is unnecessary. Groups of such vibrating bodies can be subcutaneously implanted for emission of energy and directed to a focus, for example cancer of the mammary glands of women. Tumour cells are dispersed by the impinging shock waves and are at least damaged or even killed. In arteriosclerosis which is also very significant, especially sclerosis of the coronary artery, re-emulsification of excessive lipids that have been deposited on the vessel walls for many years is expected. Thereafter, the vessel lumen is more spacious and the perfusion is improved, also in adjacent tissues and organs. Vibrating bodies can be introduced/deposited with cannulas, probes, splitting or spreading probes or catheters. Vessels obstructed by thrombi or granulation tissue can .. .with shock waves from the catheter which possesses a vibrating body at the front ... Original abstract incomplete.
