<p>A device for spraying liquids has a housing which can be hand-held, a motor-driven arrangement for generating compressed air and switching means for the latter, as well as a source of energy and a liquid storage container which can be coupled with the arrangement for generating compressed air by means of a delivery nozzle. A generally cylindrical housing (1) for the appliance has a recessed part (5), extending over part of its length and part of its cross section, for receiving the storage container (6) in a variably fixed manner. The source of energy (8), the driving engine (10) with its gearbox (11, 12, 15) and the compressed air generating arrangement (17) are arranged parallel or obliquely relative to the longitudinal axis of the recessed part (5), next to it, at some distance one from the other. By means of this simple layout, regular atomization of the liquid is achieved.</p> |
