<p>A syringe which is intented for use only once and which can be redered useless after use. The syringe comprises a barrel (11) and a plunger (13) receivable in the barrel and movable therealong. The plunger (13) includes a shank (53) which is selectively deformable to render the plunger inoperable. The shank includes a weakened section (59) at which it can be fractured to effect deformation of the shank.</p> |
