Device for separating round grains (35) from non-round grains (broken grains) (36) of a bulk material on a separating plate (33) which is inclined with respect to the horizontal and carries out a vibrational movement with the aid of a vibration drive (31). A good and uniform separation accuracy of the bulk material to be selected is achieved in that the vibration drive (31) is arranged in such a manner that the round grains (35) roll down on the inclined surface of the separating plate (33) and the broken grains (36) are conveyed in the direction predetermined by the vibrational movement. <IMAGE>
