PURPOSE:To prevent lowering of between-coils electrostatic capacity so as to rationalize insulation structure by determining the number of windings of each dividing groove according to the potential distribution at the time of coil excitation of a mold ignition coil. CONSTITUTION:A secondary bobbin 30 is divided into respective secondary coils 41 to 45 such that the coil widths are W1 to W5 and the coil heights are D1 to D5 from the winding end. Divided coils are separated from each other with a partition 61 of T1 in thickness and insulated. To determine the number of turns of windings for each groove, if numbered from the winding end to the winding start, a row a1 of coils in the first groove at the winding end is so calculated that the potential difference between No.1 (x=0, potential 100%) and No.2a1 (x=2a1-1) may be below the dielectric strength between the steps of the windings. The partition dimension T1 between grooves relates to the number N1 of turns of windings for the windings end and the number a1 of coil rows. The N1 is determined so that the potential difference between coils of No.a1 (x=a1-1)th and No.N1+1 (x=N1)th may be below the insulation strength of the partition T1. The number of windings is decided similarly for the following from the winding end in the order of 1st, 2nd, 3rd groove.... |
