<p>PURPOSE:To prevent invasion of grinding liquid and the like dispersed around a work piece into a housing so as to maintain a definite high level of surface accuracy of a work piece by working under forced feeding of air from a positive pressure generator into the housing at working the work piece. CONSTITUTION:A rotary tommy bar 10 is fitted on the lower end of the upper shaft of a grinding device through a joint member 16, and a work piece is placed on a grinding stone, and the pivot 12a of a rotary pin 12 is engaged to a holding member of the work piece. When the work is pushed with pressure against the grinding stone and ground in swinging state, air is forced to feed through a connecting member 23 and a hole 22. Air is ejected through the clearance 24 between the rotary pin 12 and the joint member 16, the clearance between balls of bearings 20, 14, the clearance 25 between a spacer 15 and the rotary pin 12, the clearance between balls of a bearing 13, the clearance 26 between a housing 11 and the rotary pin 12. And a grinding liquid and the like dispersed from the vicinity of the work is blown off and abrasive particles and the like do not invade the interior of housing 11.</p> |
