<p>The invention relates to a differential valve with release (14) for a pressurised-fluid circuit comprising a body (1) with an orifice (2) connecting with the circuit and a fluid outlet orifice (3), while a piston (6) with a channel (10) is mounted slidably inside said body, one of its ends being joined to or forming a valve head (7) and its other end forming one of the walls of an expansion chamber (1') which can be opened to the atmosphere by means of the release (14). The valve according to the invention is particularly notable in that the valve head (7) is designed to close or open the fluid outlet orifice (3), whereas the connecting orifice (2) communicates in the closed position of the valve with the expansion chamber (1') through the channel (10) in the piston (6), so that in this position the pressure in said chamber is substantially equal to that of the circuit.
