<p>The articulation is of particular application to vehicle seats. It comprises a fixed endplate (1) and a movable endplate (2), both mounted on a common axis and having teeth with which a planet wheel (9) driven by an eccentric (3) engages. A locking disc (14) whose centre lies on the common axis is keyed so as to rotate relative to the eccentric (3).
