Slot clamp

A slot clamp for fastening workpieces and/or work-holding bodies against one another or on a work-holding plate has two slot blocks engaging in undercut clamping slots parallel to one another. In addition, the slot clamp has at least one shank-like component holding the slot blocks against one another as well as a clamping screw acting on the pressure surface of a shank-like component. Here, one slot block has an axial extension with a longitudinal centre axis, arranged in the longitudinal centre plane of the slot block, of a continuous tapped hole. The clamping screw acting on the pressure surface of the shank-like component passes through the tapped hole. The slot clamp can be operated easily and reliably and in addition has a simple type of construction.
