The invention relates to a method and a device for producing curved paths composed of circular arcs with different radii and with different associated centre points. According to the invention, such relative movements are brought about one after the other between workpiece and tool that in each case a circular arc is produced over its full length by a relative pivoting movement and that the next circular arc, after the new associated centre point is approached, is then produced by a relative pivoting movement, and so on.
