<p>The invention relates to a device and a method for impregnating with a substance (13) reinforcement elements (2) such as fibers, tissues or braids, said reinforcement elements (2) being usable to make a composite material. The method according to the invention is particularly characterized in that it comprises the succession of the following steps: the reinforcement elements (2) are placed within a housing (1), a vacuum sufficiently high and long is created in order to eliminate at least the major part of the water and/or gas present in the reinforcement elements, and a sufficient quantity of substance (13) is introduced in the housing so that the substance covers again the elements after they have been impregnated.</p> |
