In the case of this deep-fat frying insert for potato fritters or the like for deep-fat fryers of all types, laterally moveable baking sheets (1) are arranged one above the other on a pivot column (2). The pivot column (2) is rigidly connected to the standing sheet (3), which gives the deep-fat frying insert stability for loading and unloading outside a deep-fat fryer. After removal of the deep-fat frying insert from a deep-fat fryer, any particles produced are at the same time also removed from the frying fat using the strainer (4) situated in the standing sheet (3). The baking sheets (1) capable of swinging out laterally permit simple filling and emptying.
