A device for taking biopsy specimens, in particular for histological examination of human organs, comprises a cutting tube (1) with a cutting edge (6) at one end and a recess (5) in its end region for the movable needle (2) containing the tissue specimens; a handle (21) secured to the other end of the needle (2) which moves said needle; and a spring (17) which alters the relative positions of the needle (2) and the cutting tube (1). A stopping collar (16) is arranged at the other end of the cutting tube (1), the pressure-loaded spring (17) is arranged on the section of the needle (2) between the handle (21) which moves the needle and the stopping collar (16), and the cutting tube (1) has a limiting front face (25) which prevents excess travel of said tube. A rack (26) moved by a toothed segment (27) is advantageously mounted on the end of the needle (2) and a leaf spring (28) provided with hooks is advantageously mounted on the end of the cutting tube (1). A screw (30) which co-operates with the leaf spring for adjusting the incremental advance of the needle (2) is provided at the end of the toothed segment (27). |
